GFO endeavors to provide our customers with the finest in tobacciana and men's accessories.  
We specifically seek to carry the finest products, dollar for dollar in the product lines that we
retail.
 

GFO RETURN POLICY:
If for any reason, your purchases do not meet your satisfaction, please return the item within 30 days of
reciept for a full refund or replacement.  Please note:
  • Pipes must be returned unsmoked and with any related packaging or accessories, including pipe
    socks, manufacturer's packaging, and where applicable any complimentary accessories such as
    matching tampers, etc.
  • All other merchandise must be returned with its original packaging.  

GFO ESTATE PIPE PURCHASE/TRADE POLICY:
GFO, Inc. does purchase pipes and pipe collections. Pipes we are most interested in include the pipes
we currently carry in our new inventory such as Kaywoodie, Cristiano, Wiley, American Smoking Pipe,
John Crosby Pipes, Tom Richard Pipes, L'Anatra, etc. We also purchase classic American pipes such as
Pipe by Lee, and Wally Frank.  All other pipes are handled on a case by case basis.  Please note, we do
not purchase Kaywoodie pipes that have had the drinkless system removed or otherwise altered.  

You should understand that GFO purchases estate pipes for 50% of the price we expect to list it at on
our retail store. On rare occasions, we may also take trades for pipes that we are especially interested
in.  As in the case of purchasing estate pipes, trades are done at a value of 50% of what we expect to list
the pipe for retail.  We endeavor to provide high quality, clean estate pipes to our customers, and
therefore must allow room in our pricing for restoration costs, as well as the cost of marketing the pipe
afterwards.  If this pricing is not acceptable, we recommend trying the customer sell the pipe on Ebay or
through some other private method of transaction.  Those customers who wish to sell or trade a pipe or

GFO SHIPPING POLICY:
GFO is a proud leader in our industry providing free shipping to our customers on all items. We were
the first online tobacconiana retailer to offer this service and we will continue with this policy as long as
we remain in business.  Shipping will be conducted through USPS First Class or Parcel Post Mail.  GFO
reserves the right to choose alternative shipping methods(such as UPS, FedEx, etc.)at our discretion.  
Signature confirmation may be required on certain items.

Due to various customs procedures and foreign laws, we cannot guarantee nor insure items shipped
outside the United States.  Your item is insured and tracked until it leaves the posession of the United
States Postal Service.  Once in the hands of foreign mail services, GFO no longer accepts liability for the
item nor do we guarantee a delivery date.

Items shipped in the United States are insured and remain the liabilty of GFO until the US Postal Service
marks the item "Delivered" through its Delivery confirmation service.  This holds true for packages
shipped by other shipping services as well.  

CREDIT CARD ORDER PROCESSING:

GFO runs all credit card orders manually.

Pending Transactions -
When a credit or debit card issuer puts a hold on a dollar amount of a
transaction it is often referred to as a Pending Transaction.

Please Note:

1. A Pending Transaction is not the same thing as a charge.
2. GFO is not the one who places the "hold" and we do not charge your card multiple times for the same
invoice.
3. A credit card or debit card issuer places a "hold" or "pending transaction" in response to each charge
attempt.   Particularly with debit cards, the issuing bank may place an
authorization hold followed by the
actual charge, which can result in duplicate pending transactions.  
4. GFO cannot affect or remove any additional pending transactions that are a result of the above
actions by your bank.

What do you do? You do not need to do anything to have the "hold" released. It will be released
automatically, at the end of the hold period which is predetermined by the card issuer or bank.

To find out how long the hold period lasts, read the small print on your credit/debit card agreement. If the
print is too small to read or if you can't find it on there, call the customer service phone the number on
the back of your card and ask them.
