Totem Star Straight Tapered Billiard - Grade Silver 1
From Gunnar's own description...Crazy flame and super fine grain all around. Weakest on
lower left of bowl, although there is still something there. Probably was near a branch or
something originally. Grain is consistent however, maintaining it's insane grain over all, without
any drop off or wash to speak of.
Pipe is nicely centered within grain and situated high in the block to achieve a nice plateaux
crown around the beveled rim. A contrast stain highlights the grain action. Rosewood decorates
the stem and carries the delrin tenon. The mortise is re-enforced with a Delrin sleeve. Shank is
protected and re-enforced with an acrylic facing. Pipe cleaner has but one choice...
